This little lady was picked up in Claremorris on the 9th September 2016 by two wonderful lads who realised she was in bother. We would like to thank these gentlemen because who knows how this could have ended. This poor girl is very weak, hungry and scared. Her neck is raw from a rope we think and she will need a lot of TLC. Cara had a long journey ahead of her; she was too weak to stand up and had fluid on her lungs. She was under veterinary care for weeks after her arrival at the kennels.

Cara is a fighter and was soon eating out of our hands and drinking. Under the care of Mayo SPCA, Cara continued to thrive. Today she is a beautiful healthy dog and now ready for her forever home. Cara is fully vaccinated, spayed and micro chipped.

Mayo SPCA on a daily basis deals with a number of cruelty cases, injured, sick and abandoned animals. If you would like to donate to Cara’s on going care, or for any of our other sick and unwanted animals in our care, you can use our Text to Donate or pay-pal, all donations will be very welcome.
