This poor little girl was found tied to someone’s gate with no collar-just a chain around her neck. We have called her Leah and she is about six months old-very nervous and on the thin side.
Leah is still very nervous but with the help of the wonderful volunteers, is gaining confidence in people and learning to enjoy life. She will need a home with experienced owners and a secure garden in order to help her feel safe.
She is a really lovely dog with a beautiful spirit. Please contact us if you would like to meet her.
Biscuit is one of Cocos pups-sadly her new home didn’t work out so she has found herself back with us looking again.
This little lady likes company all of her own and would suit an experienced owner who has had previous experience with dogs that could ensure she has ongoing training and daily exercise.
This makes her sound like a bit of a diva which she isn’t by any stretch, she is very much a loving and friendly happy go lucky pup who prefers human company to that of her furry pals.
She walks well on a lead and will happily meet and greet with other dogs but can be a little over confident when it comes to sharing a home with one, so we feel that Biscuit should to be the only dog of a household.
If you would like to meet Biscuit and see for yourself how special and sweet she is please do contact us on 0868032592 and we can arrange a convenient time for you to come and visit our kennel family.
Pleased to meet you all! My name is Ali.
I was dumped in a cage in a garden with a food bowl.-alone, scared and a bit bewildered as to why I wasn’t being loved anymore. The kind people who’s garden it was called the Mayo SPCA and I have had a couple of days to settle in and have trips out on a lead which I’m really good at.
I have had my injections and been wormed, de-flead and will be neutered before I go to my new home.
If you would like to meet me or know a little more about my character please call my lovely carers on 086 803 2592 and they will tell you all about me.
Please note that visits are by appointment only.
This beautiful girl is Coco. Coco is mum to spud and Oliver and now that her maternal duties have come to an end she is looking for a forever home of her very own.
Coco didn’t have a great start to life; she came to us with an old injury that had healed on her poor leg. It has been looked at by our vets and as it doesn’t stop her from enjoying everything about life a decision to leave be was made.
So this beautiful terrier cross girl wants a family of her own. She is wonderful with children and adults alike and has so much love to give. She would like a home without cats as she’s not too fond of them and a home where she can be spoilt as an only dog is preferred.
If you have fallen in love like so many of us volunteers please contact 0868032592 and we will arrange a meeting.
All vaccination and chipping has been completed and Coco is ready to meet her new adventures.
Please note that visits are by appointment only.
Sweet Sabre is waiting patiently for her new home, somewhere to lay her head go on walks and get spoilt in return for oodles and oodles of love (she really is a beautiful cuddly softy) with unusual markings that make her very unique. Sabre is GSD x (possibly Mallinios) and really is a pretty special young girl.
Sabre likes to play and enjoys walks. Ongoing training will be required to keep this beautiful girl stimulated as she is so keen to learn and has so much to give.
More information can be obtained by calling 0868032592 and the girls who look after her at the sanctuary at present will be able to tell you all about her and what she likes to do
