It is a very busy time for Mayo SPCA and we are appealing for donations to help in the care of the unwanted, abandoned and injured cats & dogs in our care. Over the past twelve months we have had in our care many dogs and cats with severe and horrific injures due to neglect. Ever donation we receive goes directly to the care of our animals. Mayo SPCA would like to thank the Management and Staff at ESP Ballyhaunis for their very generous donation of 1000 euros which was presented to Marian Beisty and Eavan Caulfield on 22.12.15. Your kind donation will go a long way to looking after the pets in our care.

We would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to Tracey & Mick Cullinane and staff from the Borderline Bar for holding a Christmas Jumper event on 18.12.15. Tracey and Mick kindly donated the food and Music on the night along with being fabulous hosts.                                                                                                               Other people we would like to thank for donating raffle prizes are: Yvon McNabb – Divas and Studs hair salon Noel Devane Brendan Cosgrove Lundy Foods Catriona and Paul Hunt – Hillside station John Hennigan – Centra Ballindine Frank Clarke Bernie Mullen Carmel McDonnell And our DJ Michael Burke who provided the music. A good night was had by all and we managed to raise 610 euros. Thanks to all who took part and contributed on the night.

On Behalf of the Mayo SPCA, we wish to thank most sincerely, all those who contributed in any way to the success of our Christmas Craft Fair, which was held in Ballyhaunis on 15th November.                                                                                     A special thanks goes to Maura Biggins and Lucie Kavanagh for organising the Fair and all of the people who supported us.
