On behalf of the Mayo SPCA, I would like to thank you sincerely for your generous and most welcome grant of €33,375.
Again it has proved to be a very difficult year for our charity, as our usual fund raisers, such as Dog Shows, Church Gate Collections and Craft Fair have had to be scaled back as a result of the ongoing Corona virus pandemic. Our expenditure has also been hit by the continued rising costs of Living.
Our animal sanctuary has had to remain open in order to continue providing shelter, food and medical attention to all the lost, abandoned and neglected animals that find themselves in need of our care.
Your grant, therefore will go towards helping the Mayo SPCA continue to function in the year ahead and hopefully be there for the animals of Mayo in years to come.
