Mayo Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, also known as Mayo SPCA (MSPCA), exists to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome abandoned and neglected animals across Mayo.
As a voluntary organisation, MSPCA is made up of dedicated volunteers who believe that animals deserve more than survival — they deserve dignity, comfort, and the chance to live free from pain, fear, and neglect.
We believe every animal has the right to:
🐾 ready access to food and water
🐾 a healthy diet that supports their wellbeing
🐾 comfort suited to their breed, size, age, and health
🐾 best possible healthcare and treatment for illness or injury
🐾 safe spaces to exercise, play, recover, and simply be themselves
🐾 a life free from fear, distress, isolation, and unnecessary suffering
