The Brilliance of TNR

Thank you so much to Celine and all who care for beautiful Ginger Bear. This is the brilliance of TNR. If no one had spayed her, she would have litter after litter, wearing herself out and producing a colony of cats that the locals couldn’t hope to care for. Instead she can live happily with her feline and human friends in safety and peace ♥️
“This is Ginger Bear, who strayed into a small estate in Castlebar. At first, it was thought she was a he, being ginger, but he was a she!! The folk feeding her looked to see if she had an owner and after about a month decided to TNR her. She was only about 5/6 months old, quite small and living in a 3 walled shed, and it was decided that “he” was not just getting fat from all the feeding!!
So she was trapped, went to the vet, and was netured then released in the same area.
Now, about a month later, she’s back to her young old self. Lives outdoors, gets fed in about 4 houses quite possibly more!! Is friendly with local cats, still nervy of people. But she’ll never have to worry about having litter after litter. She can be free of all that and live a happy little life being fed by everyone. She’s also going to get a little cat house to rest in instead of the 3 walled shed… but being a typical cat, it’s not guaranteed that she’ll use it!! 🫣🙄
