The Newfoundland X Collie litter

In the summer of 2024 we have five Newfoundland X Collie puppies looking for forever homes! These balls of fluff were extremely popular little pups!

In June they were three months old and were named Bella, Coco, Cooper (now Josie), Poppy & Thumbelina (now Nelly).

Volunteers described them as:

‘They will be will be large in size and active. Like all puppies they are a blank canvas and will become what you teach them to be.

We are looking for indoor homes so that they can become part of the family. They will need someone home most of the day to teach them all aspects of being a healthy & happy dog.

They will need training with lead walking and house training, plenty of exercise, mental stimulation and lots of proper socialization. A very secure garden with high boundaries is a must.

They will need an active home where you can provide the appropriate amount of physical exercise and mental stimulation required to meet their energy needs.’

Josie (was Cooper) is getting on great in her new forever home! She’s causing mischief everywhere as every puppy would She is stuck to her human sister all the time, the two are the best of friends And her 9 year old doggie sister Julie is getting used to sharing the attention (July, 2024).

Poppy was adopted from us 3 months ago and much to our surprise she was suddenly returned to us today at 6 months old (October, 2024) Poppy was happy to see us again but it is very difficult for any dog who is used to the comforts of a home and family, to suddenly find themselves alone and in a strange environment.

She’s smart, funny, naughty and gorgeous in equal measure and so lovable and loving

… she both torments and delights Rosco, but like her humans, he absolutely adores her, and life would be oh so quiet without her
