CHAIRMAN’S STATEMENT
THANK YOU TO OUR VOLUNTEERS
As Chairman, I would like to take this opportunity to
sincerely thank every one of our volunteers for their hard work,
commitment and support throughout the past year.
Our Animal Rescue simply could not continue to do the
work it does without the incredible people who give their time
so generously. Whether volunteering directly at the Rescue,
caring for the animals, helping with day-to-day tasks, or simply
being there when an extra pair of hands was needed, your
contribution has made a real difference.
I would like to recognise everyone who works tirelessly
behind the scenes. So much of what we achieve happens away
from the public eye, through fundraising events, generous
donations, organising activities, spreading the word, and helping
to manage and promote our work on social media.
Every donation, every fundraising effort, every shared
post, and every hour of volunteering contributes to giving the
animals in our care the support, safety, and second chance they
deserve.
It is easy to underestimate just how much time, effort, and
dedication goes into keeping an organisation like ours going. I
want everyone involved to know that your hard work is greatly
appreciated and does not go unnoticed.
On behalf of the directors, the committee, and most
importantly, the animals we care for, thank you for everything
you have done over the past year. Your generosity, kindness,
and commitment are what make our work possible, and we are
incredibly grateful to have such a dedicated team supporting the
Mayo SPCA.
