Jess

Jess was about 10 months old and arrived from the pound in the middle of 2025. She was a tiny little petite collie mix and was very nervous and overwhelmed when we first met her. We have given her plenty of time and space …. It’s ironic that she was in the kennel that Candy (now Ace) was in when she arrived. Jess reminds us of Candy (now Ace) in so many ways. Her dainty size and her nervous manner. However, maybe when Candy was adopted she left some of her courage to pass on to Jess, as Jess started making huge progress and eventually started coming to have a sniff of the volunteers and accepting a gentle rub or two..
