Bentley and Ranger came into our shelter as three month old collie puppies are looking for their forever home. They got some wonderful socialising in the shelter and by staying together for as long as they had. All the visitors and volunteers in the shelter doted on them in the summer sunshine!

A huge thank you to our wonderful volunteer Vinnie (who proves first hand the differences made to shelter animals by volunteers) and to Ciara at Oracle Dogs for providing our shelter residents with such wonderful experiences
In June 2026, the two boys Bentley and Ranger got their turn. The little guys were fabulous – delighted to meet the other dogs and all the people. Really well behaved and showed a real flair for mantrailing. They both got certs at the end of the course which will go with them to their new homes. It was also their first car journey and happy to say they were a little apprehensive but had no issues. It was very obvious that despite being in the shelter they are well socialised and very comfortable around strangers which is a credit to the work done by all the volunteers.”
